Full Circle Restorative Justice (FCRJ) presents its annual fundraiser dance and silent auction on April 6, 2013. FCRJ will be hosting a “Generational Beat – Dance Through Time” at The River’s Edge from 7 – 11 p.m. with DJ Deano – complete with prizes for the best costumes in each generation! Enjoy an evening beginning with Big Band sound and progressing to “Now” sounds!
Tickets will be $12 at the door and includes a free IPA donated from Elevation Brewery, a glass of wine donated by Vino Salida or soft drinks. As an expression of gratitude for sponsorship level of support ($100 and above), FCRJ is offering 2 free tickets and two additional drinks. Your name and/or business logo is requested by March 29 to include on the event posters and advertising. Please provide banners and/or business cards to be on display at the event.
We are hoping the community will turn out attired in poodle skirts, tiedyes, parachute pants and/or Madonna-wear to dance their booties off and support Full Circle in promoting its mission:
“To enhance the peace and safety of our community by addressing youthful offender accountability and empowering victims in a positive conflict resolution process.”
FCRJ addresses the harm caused by crime, and provides opportunities for victim empowerment and restitution, while supporting offender accountability and integration back into the community. FCRJ provides a safe framework of conferencing with trained facilitators to meet the needs of victims, communities, schools and offenders, while minimizing the youth involvement within the legal system.
If you and/or your business decide to support and promote Restorative Justice ideals, FCRJ staff and the Board of Directors – as well as the families and community members who utilize our services – would be greatly appreciative. Please contact me with any questions and/or need for more information, which I am happy to provide.
Hope to see you out on the dance floor!
