FCRJ RESTORATIVE JUSTICE FACILITATOR TRAINING
May 15 -16, 2015
This training is for caring individuals and concerned citizens of our community interested in promoting peace and justice by becoming facilitators of Restorative Circles (victim-offender conferences) — for new and/or experienced volunteers. Patty LaTaille, FCRJ Program Director and Professional Mediator, will be conducting the 2-day training course.
The training will incorporate:
1) Complete facilitator training for new volunteers — 12 hours
2) Role plays and additional training for experienced volunteers who need a refresher—3 hours
Fri. May 15: 12-6:30 pm — Beginning of 2-day training for new volunteers
Sat. May 16: 9:30-4 pm – Continued training for new volunteers. The afternoon is dedicated to specific circle training and role playing for both new and experienced facilitators.
For TRAINED Volunteers Who Want A Refresher:
Join us Sat. afternoon, 1:00-4:00 for role playing scenarios and practice facilitating. Arrive a bit earlier for a potluck luncheon at 12:30 pm. to meet & greet our new volunteers
The training will be held in Salida on Hwy 50 at the Conference room across from the FCRJ office at 7405 Hwy. 50, Suite 111.
